During the next three months the artist Sarah Oppenheimer will manipulate the overall architecture of the Mudam Luxembourg utilising two ‘switches“, which consist of two glass corridors that can be set in motion. As well as the modification of the architecture, Oppenheimer’s work also influences the flow of visitors through the Mudam’s gallery space. The title of the exhibition, S-399390, was named after the newest addition to her “encyclopaedia of holes” which is “S“, that stands for “Switch“.

Sarah Oppenheimer is an artist captivated by the edge conditions of spatial contiguity.

The exhibition is curated by Marie-Noëlle Farcy and Clément Minighetti and will be shown until 29 May 2016.

The Mudam Luxembourg, located in Luxembourg City, is dedicated to contemporary art. The museum was built by the famous Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei.
